What do you when you have a burning crush, but can't work up the nerve to tell him? Buy a nice dildo and dream about making sweet, sweet love, of course. However, Chiwoo's plan takes a turn when he finds his toy comes with a special offer: fight monsters with the magic dildo to make your wish come true! Chiwoo [ ]

27, Chiwoo lived with Hwan and his mother after his parents passed away in an accident. Visiting on one such occasion after moving to his own place, when Hwan speaks he is leaving, Chiwoo says to wait for him. While telling Hwan that he needs to take a bus, and is heading to a part-time job, in reality Chiwoo has nothing to do today. Having liked Hwan, after meeting Sunny he says his wish is to go out with him. Magically armored, Chiwoo wields a sword against monsters. Helping his friend Jin-ah, he is especially pleased to see Hwan arrive at the coffee store he works at. Preparing at once for another demon, Chiwoo does not hesitate in killing that one after warning that anything can be done to him, but Hwan cannot be touched. Seeking to improve his capabilities, Chiwoo takes guidance from Sunny and has the initiative to seek out training manuals. Reactions to Hwan asking to meet him for a movie are panic based that such moments are happening, yet Chiwoo does accept such invitations. For all his bravery and independence in other areas, nerves are a persistent issue for Chiwoo when it comes to making his wishes concerning Hwan a reality.

Dahn Hwan [ ]

Feeling that Chiwoo should say things in front of him, Hwan heads to classes. When there is a break, he visits Chiwoo. Having something to tell Chiwoo, he requests an Americano and tiramisu when asked. Sleepy and not realizing he came under attack from a demon, at visiting Chiwoo again Hwan asks if he is free next Wednesday. Having tickets for a movie he wants to see, Hwan wonders if Chiwoo would like to come with him. Having been worried about him, Hwan returns Chiwoo's hug while telling him it is alright and he does not have to cry. As they eat together, Chiwoo asks if he is okay now. Having waited for Chiwoo even though he was really late, yet noted to have not ask edhim why, Hwan replies Chiwoo is not the type of person who would show up late for no reason and it seems he has stuff going on that he cannot talk about right now. Still, Hwan does not want there to be too may secrets between them so he says for Chiwoo to tell him when he feels like he can. In saying for Chiwoo to stay at his, Hwan thinks how it has been some time since he could look at him close like this. In bringing Chiwoo's charger to work yet finding Jin-ah there, Hwan declines to leave it with him. Told to be good to Chiwoo, he hears his perspectives but like Chiwoo he is not forthcoming in sharing how he feels.

Hwan's Mother [ ]

Before, she attempted to have Hwan eat more before detailing that the family moving on the first floor has a little boy about his age. Welcoming Chiwoo's parents when they arrived, she mentioned her son was a bit shy but she was glad he would have a new friend to play with. Tending to Chiwoo at his parent's funeral, she took him into her home after that. With Chiwoo at the table she questions who even told him to go out and live by himself, where she is happy to cook for him when he visits.

Sunny [ ]

Introducing itself to Chiwoo and that it is here to grant him a wish, instead Sunny says for him to sign a contract and be a magic boy. Seeing Chiwoo understands it better than it thought, Sunny raises does he have a choice but not to do it as he wants it to make his wish come true. If Sunny is to give Chiwoo strength, he must fight for it. Monsters have escaped, and Sunny speaks how the world will soon be destroyed. Deeming kids these days to be weak-willed, Sunny feels it is not easy to find someone which is why it came to Chiwoo who is desperate. Urging Chiwoo to vanquish the monster that has appeared, Sunny guides him to do that when he is speaking. After Chiwoo prevails, Sunny praises him and encourages him to continue. When a monster disappears so does the power of darkness. Alarmed to be seen by Jin-ah, while sweating Sunny attempts to claim it is Chiwoo's doll and it loves him. Then angered, Sunny attempts to have Jin-ah forget before saying how sometimes there are people who have anti-psychotic powers. Sunny decides if it is not magical then it's physical while brandishing a knife at Jin-ah. Assisting Chiwoo with learning about his sword powers, Sunny is also quick to share a strong feeling that the adorable puppy Chiwoo brought back is a monster.

Ryu Leejin [ ]

Referred to as Jin-ah, entering the coffee shop his colleague Chiwoo works at, he reacts with surprise at his expression. Asking what is wrong with his face, Jin-ah says he will be right back and for him to not push himself too hard. Calling to Chiwoo, Jin-ah is tearful as he requests he please catch the spider. Noting Chiwoo doting on Hwan, he also remembers the spider monster's attack. Pleased at the idea that Chiwoo is a magical boy, he is unaffected at Sunny's powers who he is happy to see. Swearing to never tell their secret, Jin-ah does not want to get Chiwoo into trouble. Stating that Chiwoo was cool when he used the power of his sword, Jin-ah then addresses how it looks dangerous. Jin-ah does ask why Chiwoo is doing this, and he does not have to answer if he thinks it is troublesome. Affirming that Chiwoo does not sound funny at all for wanting to wish for someone to date, Jin-ah adds he envies that person. His response noted, Jin-ah says there is no one in the world who would do that for him, and he is rooting for Chiwoo.

Spider Monster [ ]

Webbing Hwan before anyone even notices him, the spider monster then binds Jin-ah. Speaking how he was not aiming for him, the spider monster awaits Chiwoo to change. Unconcerned with Chiwoo's resolve, webs can be produced from his hands and fired at him. Having the interior filled with them, he speaks that spiders do not spin webs to attack their prey, rather catch them. After catching them they slowly melt and eat them. The monster's hands can detach to grip onto Chiwoo. Picking up that Chiwoo reacted to Hwan stirring, the spider monster identifies that his weakness is over there. Paying no mind to his own weakness, it is that he attempted to reach Hwan and so allow Chiwoo to attack where he had also infuriated him.

Land-Lady [ ]

Addressing Chiwoo as boy, she announces how she heard a loud noise earlier. She remained unaware that the residence was being used for training purposes.

Hwan Imitating Monster [ ]

When the elevator doors open to smoke, Hwan finds Chiwoo and they leave the cinema premises together. Surprised, Chiwoo was not sure why a monster was not there. Speaking how the smoke was from a malfunctioning fire extinguisher, Hwan questions whether Chiwoo would like to stay at his tonight. Finding it a relief Chiwoo indicated yes, Hwan is sorry to ruin their date. Having washed, Hwan joins Chiwoo in his room wearing just a towel. Unsure why he wants to go home, Hwan says he does not like Chiwoo getting away from him. Gently asking Chiwoo if he can look at him, Hwan takes his hand into his own. Having always been beside him, Hwan asks why he is saying for them to stay as they are. Sharing how he has loved him all his life, Hwan tells Chiwoo not to worry as he is nervous too. After saying to Chiwoo that he loves him, his eyes close upon hearing everything he has said has been a lie. Thinking that Chiwoo would go along with it, the monster does not physically injure Chiwoo, rather speaks how it will go now as the illusion of Hwan fades away from Chiwoo's sword through it.

Fluffy Monster [ ]

A puppy found by Chiwoo in a box with 'take me home' written on it. Seen and adorable, Fluffy enjoys playing with the toys presented to him. Upon turning into a human, Fluffy addresses Chiwoo as master. Unable to stop licking him, Fluffy draws blood. His attention drawn to a toy, Fluffy appears entranced by it. The sheer focus distracts the monster enough to allow Chiwoo to reach his sword.

Mermaid Monster [ ]

The music from a shell in his hand reaches the beach from his position on the sea floor. Surrounded by the wreckage of sunken ships, he welcomes Chiwoo who arrives. Bidding Chiwoo to come a little closer, he already has him charmed.

Story [ ]

Giving thanks to Hwan's mom for the meal, Chiwoo wonders how long it has been since he tasted a home-cooked dinner. As Chiwoo discusses his living arrangements with Hwan's mom, he sees Hwan join them in the room. The reason Chiwoo left this house is related to an incident when he was young. There was a car accident, and the rescue of people at the collapsed Haitai bridge was reported to have begun on the 27th, yet at the time the exact cause of the collapse was not known. As Chiwoo as a child sat bandaged in hospital, medical staff discussed the loss of his parents and how he had no relatives. A miracle did not happen to Chiwoo's parents who had been lying in the intensive care unit for days, and he was alone after they passed away.

Hwan heads to class while Chiwoo pretends to have work

Chiwoo was on his hospital bed when Hwan entered to say for them to go home since he had been discharged. After, Chiwoo was brought to live with Hwan and his mother. Naturally, Chiwoo and Hwan grew close as they attended school together. Presently, as Hwan leaves, Chiwoo means to go with him since he has to get on the bus too. At the Geumeun-dong Sageum bus stop, Chiwoo questions Hwan if he is going to ride number 399. Asked what bus he is taking, Chiwoo looks to the board behind Hwan before answering number 986. There is about twenty minutes left, so Chiwoo says it is going to take a while.

When Hwan wonders if he is going to work, Chiwoo answers yes, that it is a daily part-time job. After Hwan warmly wishes him luck, Chiwoo waves as he leaves on his bus. In actuality, Chiwoo has nothing to do today. Beaming as a message says his parcel has been delivered, Chiwoo has been waiting for a few days. The dildo he has ordered immediately produces a creature that speaks its name is Sunny. Speaking that it is here to grant a wish, Chiwoo imagines himself with Hwan. Having an idea, Sunny says for Chiwoo to sign a contract with it and become a magical boy.^[1]

Sunny encourages Chiwoo to be a magical boy and fight monsters

Seeing that Chiwoo understands the situation, Sunny will grant his wish if he fights for it. The power of darkness that had been sealed just woke up, and Sunny details monsters are running wild where the world will soon be destroyed. All the magical boy has to do is fight the beast and seal the power of darkness. As Chiwoo wishes to go out with Hwan, a pink-blob monster appears and Sunny urges him to get the dildo and transform. Magically, armor covers Chiwoo and he is armed with a sword. In speaking to Sunny on whether he has become powerful, Chiwoo is captured by the tentacle monster. Biting one of the tentacles allows Chiwoo to free himself. Resolving to be with Hwan first, Chiwoo kicks the monster and uses his sword to destroy it. Praising his victory, Sunny informs Chiwoo that the power of darkness disappears when a monster does.^[2]

A warm morning sunshine is present as Jin-ah thinks he is here. Greeting Chiwoo in the coffee shop, at noticing his panicked reaction, Jin-ah heads to get something to alleviate this. Thinking he had a nightmare, Chiwoo recalls a scene of being intimate with Hwan. Blue tentacles had covered Hwan and left himself bound, an experience that Chiwoo hated. Waking on the floor of his bedroom, Chiwoo was relieved it was just a dream. Asked if he slept well by Sunny, he sees it was not all a dream.

When Hwan visits the coffee shop, Jin notes how Chiwoo acts

At the counter, Chiwoo finds he dreamt of Hwan after a long time. Calling for him, Jin-ah cries as he requests for Chiwoo handle a spider. Doing so, Chiwoo places the spider outside before seeing Hwan heading towards him. There has been a break in classes, and Hwan also has something to tell Chiwoo. As Jin-ah regards how Chiwoo is acting around Hwan, it is more the case inside.

Attacked before the assailant is even seen

Without warning they both find Hwan suddenly webbed to the ceiling. Hwan is unconscious, and Chiwoo hears from Jin-ah that a spider came in, specifically a large humanoid-like one that is above him.^[3] As Chiwoo heads to change, the spider demon snares Jin-ah in webs yet awaits the former's return. After Chiwoo announces he is not prepared to forgive those who touch Hwan, the spider monster fires webs at him. Although Chiwoo can avoid them, the monster states the webs are not to attack him, but capture Chiwoo.

Dealing with the monster who Chiwoo warned not to touch Hwan

Unable to cut through the webs at close range and with his movement impeded, Chiwoo has a poison placed in him. Unable to move, Chiwoo wonders if he can win. Once Hwan stirs, Chiwoo is able to break himself free. Identifying Hwan as his weakness, the spider monster climbs his webs to reach him. Before he can touch him, Chiwoo has managed to rip the spider demon's arms off. Killing the spider demon, Chiwoo reminds him he said not to touch Hwan.

Outside the coffee shop, Hwan is sorry as he asks why Chiwoo did not wake him up. Saying that it is alright, Chiwoo states Hwan should go to his classes otherwise he will be late. As Chiwoo thinks how sad he is since Hwan is leaving, Jin-ah mentions he was really cool earlier. After Jin-ah asks if he is a magical boy, Chiwoo questions how he remembers. Taking his hand, Jin-ah wonders if that is a secret.^[4] By nightfall, Chiwoo returns home to inform Sunny that something happened. Upset that he almost messed up because a strange spider suddenly came out, Chiwoo hears Sunny say he did a good job.

Sunny processes that Jin-ah is aware of it

Greatly alarmed to find Jin-ah behind him, Sunny attempts to pass itself off as a doll. Noting it has been caught, Chiwoo states Jin-ah kept remembering when the monster disappeared so he brought him here. In attempting to banish any memories Jin-ah may have of these magical incidents, Sunny finds he is unaffected. Speculating how it may be due to anti-psychotic powers, Sunny then elects to try using a knife as it may require a physical response. When Jin-ah says he will keep this a secret, Sunny relents.

Noticing a kendo guide, it is something Chiwoo bought having noted he could not use his sword properly. Guiding him to close his eyes and focus his energy on his fingertips, Sunny helps Chiwoo produce the sword. Sun based invocations can be spoken to banish darkness, and after Chiwoo follows Sunny's directions he successfully channels the power of his sword, to destroy his desk.

Upset since he could have benefitted from this power earlier, Chiwoo is further distressed that he could have died. Agreeing that it is very dangerous, Jin-ah asks if Chiwoo is comfortable in saying why he is doing this. After glancing to Sunny, who says to do whatever he wants, Chiwoo shares that he has a wish. Sharing that it is to date someone he likes, Jin-ah does not laugh at the idea as supposed, rather supports Chiwoo. To that end, Jin-ah adds while Chiwoo is doing his job he will be filling his shift at the store. After Sunny notes he has a helper, Chiwoo says this is why he likes Jin-ah.

Hwan asked if Chiwoo would like to see a movie with him

The land-lady knocks on the door, so Chiwoo guides Sunny to put his desk back to normal. Sunny cannot do that.^[5] As Chiwoo sets about ascertaining the clothes he can wear, Sunny tells him it is not even for a date. When at the coffee shop, Hwan appeared sleepy yet Chiwoo has acquired a take out for him. Speaking how that is not it, Hwan asked if Chiwoo is free next Wednesday as he has movie tickets. This is presently why Chiwoo is keen to get his outfit right as he considers it a date. Chiwoo says for Sunny to not think about following him.

Wearing the same clothes he wears everyday, Chiwoo feels it is not even a real date. Answering his phone, Chiwoo hears from Hwan that he awaits his arrival. In the elevator, Chiwoo attempts to calm himself. Finding his face red, Chiwoo thinks he will pretend nothing is amiss when he is with Hwan for the rest of the day. Finding smoke once the doors open, Chiwoo guesses it is fire but notes there is no one around, neither is there any smell. Reaching his conclusion, Chiwoo is careful to anticipate when and where it will pop out. Walking through the smoke, Chiwoo thinks how this is a nine-story movie theatre and whether Hwan is alright.

Meeting together at the cinema filled with smoke

Calling to Hwan, where he was excited before, Chiwoo now considers he is making it dangerous for him. Hearing Hwan call his name then seeing him, Chiwoo embraces him. As Hwan registers this, Chiwoo has tears in his eyes as he says he will fix this quickly.^[6] Having moved to another location, Chiwoo and Hwan discuss how a fire extinguisher malfunctioned. Wondering if he can just come back like this, Chiwoo thinks was that not a monster. When Hwan asks whether Chiwoo would like to stay over he turns red as he checks whether he really can. Hwan says it is a relief that their date can continue, and Chiwoo reacts that they are on a date. Having been in and out of Hwan's house for twenty years, Chiwoo sees finally this is a date.

On his blanket, Chiwoo contemplates how this room is exactly the same which he finds strange. As expected, Chiwoo has no courage to tell Hwan his feelings. With Hwan entering, Chiwoo finds him in his towel. When Hwan asks if he wants him to find some comfortable clothes, Chiwoo anxiously trembles as he speaks about wanting to go home now. Joining him on his level, Hwan asks why since it has been a while since they have been together. After Chiwoo responds that Hwan will hate him if he knows why, he mentions for them to stay like this in terms of the distance between them. Requesting that he look at him, Hwan shares he has loved him all his life.

His mind blank, Chiwoo does not know what to say to Hwan divulging his feelings. As they begin to kiss, Hwan asks if he does not like it, to which Chiwoo responds he loves it.^[7] Hoping the moment never ends, Hwan then says he noticed the dildo Chiwoo had in his bag. Having been waiting for this day his whole life, Hwan tells Chiwoo he loves him. Tearful, Chiwoo speaks how Hwan should not be saying that, everything he is saying is just one big lie. After a pause, the Hwan before him thought he would go with it if he knew it was fake. Stating that he will go now, the monster has been stabbed by Chiwoo's sword and the Hwan illusion dissipates into streams of pink smoke.

Deeply sorry to the real Hwan for being late

As streams rise from where he is in the elevator, Chiwoo wonders if it was all a dream. Upset, Chiwoo asks why did he leave and feels sick. The floor nine elevator doors open and Chiwoo finds the area packed with people. It has been half and hour, and Chiwoo looks up from his phone to find Hwan himself happy to see him. Sharing he is hungry, Hwan finds himself embraced by Chiwoo who says he is sorry he is late. Hugging him in turn, Hwan says to Chiwoo there is no need to cry. Hwan then says for them to go get something to eat.^[8]
